On This Day: Palm Sunday

As we move towards Easter weekend it’s important that we look at some of the events of the preceding days, so, what happened on Palm Sunday and why was it so important?

Here’s a clip from a message I gave about a year ago talking about how there were two entrances that day into Jerusalem (cf. Luke 19.28-40):

And so, from one side, tremendous honour. On the other, the humility of a King riding a donkey and coming in peace.

On that day all those years ago there were two entries into town representing two kingdoms and two theologies which now leaves us with one big choice:

Honour or humility.

Two rulers, two theologies, two worldviews, two options that bring one choice: a picture of our lives each and every day and we need to choose who are we going to follow.
